For sale is my vintage 1940's or 1950's arch top guitar. It's likely made in the USA by Harmony, Kay or Silvertone guitar. The guitar has vintage Kluson tuners that appear to be from the 1940's (see 5th picture). The pickguard looks to be a vintage tortoise shell style pickguard too. The tuners and pickguard alone seem like they could fetch about $150-200 based on similar eBay sales. I don't feel like parting out this guitar because it plays well and sounds great. It would be a shame to strip it down. It's clearly been played and has lots of scratches, small dings, and maybe a couple of small hairline cracks. But none nothing major or that that affects playability. It's got lots of great mojo and plenty of life left. The action is pretty low and comfortable for such an old archtop guitar and stays in tune well. Comes with a new adjustable bridge as well as the original bridge that came with the guitar when I got it.
Please email me with any questions. Thanks for looking.
P.S. - I made a short video last night so you can hear how the guitar sounds. I shot it with my hand held video camera, so it's not HD, and I am definitely just an amateur guitar player, so keep...
